CANADIAN CLUB OF CHICAGO ELECTS NEW PRESIDENT The Canadian Club of Chicago elected Susan Roberts, President, at its annual meeting October 10, 2005. Susan Roberts replaces Susan Boldrey who served the club enthusiastically as president for the last four years. Susan Roberts has been a member of the board of directors of the Canadian Club of Chicago for 14 years. During that time she served as its business program chairperson. She coordinated a team of members that put on business programs that included annual economic forecasts with Tim O’Neill, Chief Economist, Bank of Montreal and business leaders such as John Cruickshank, Publisher, Chicago Sun-Times, W.J. (Bill) McAdam, President & CEO, Aux Sable Liquid Products LP, and Jayson Myers, Senior Vice President/Chief Economist of the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Association. Anne Charles, Canadian Consul General, serves as honorary president of the Canadian Club of Chicago. Other board members are: Laura Spingola, First Vice President, Charles Orlowek, Second Vice President, Bryan O’Connor, Treasurer, Howard Serlin, Recording Secretary, Greg Brewer, Corresponding Secretary, Neelum Arggarwal, MD, Walter Becky, Susan Boldrey PhD, Jim Lynch, Tova Lynch, Jim McHugh, Nuala Power, Kelly Spowage and Michael Turansick. The Canadian Club if Chicago is an event driven organization whose mission is to to promote and increase friendship and goodwill between the people of Canada and the United States. It does this through a series of business and social programs. These social programs include a Canadian Thanksgiving Dinner, a Sugaring Off Party, a post holiday party at the Canadian Consulate and sporting events that include Canadian teams.
